Maintenance of Nielsen Sonic and Paradox silencers

How do I correctly perform maintenance on my Nielsen Sonic or  Paradox silencer?  Maintenance of a Nielsen Sonic or Paradox silencer is relatively simple:

• • Clean sparingly and only with a piece of cloth and oil.
  • Make sure the silencer is completly dry before putting in storage.
  • Give it a whiff of WD-40 or similar up through the back end.
  • Avoid ultrasound cleaning and basic cleaning agents.

If the silencers needs a good cleaning, our best advice is to take it to a shooting range/cinema. When the silencer gets moderatly hot, the excess soot and the likes inside the silencer get burned off. Be aware not get the barrel too hot in the process.
