The module is inserted into the muffler, where it replaces the two outer modules, and provides a significantly increased recoil damping.
Using the rotatable shield, gases from the recoil brake module can send the gunpowder gases controlled out to the side. The narrowest piece on the shield, should point upwards, and the wide piece downwards. This counteracts a bit of the tendency to “jump”.
On Ghost 50, the 2 outermost modules must be removed and the recoil brake module inserted instead. The two modules must be removed so that the caliber insert can remain in tension inside the muffler.
